We love because He first loved us. The thing with our churches these days is that, we don’t accept and invite in those who are different from us. Those we think that are unworthy of going to heaven. But who are we to judge? Who are we to know their hearts? It is only God. Instead of neglecting these so called ‘sinners’, we’re suppose to draw them in, love like Jesus loves. Like the prostitute who bought expensive perfume for Jesus. Everyone else abandoned her because of her title, but Jesus knowing her heart, brought her in, loved her, accepted her, and forgave her. And Jesus being our example, we should do that too.
